Testimony of Alexandria

Our Bakery department is growing more and more thanks to God's providence.
Each year, industrial students support us in the growth of this department, and in turn, they also grow in Christ while selling the products they themselves make.
«Thus, in every branch of useful work and in every association of life, He desires that we find a lesson of divine truth. Then our daily work will no longer absorb our attention or lead us to forget God; it will continually remind us of our Creator and Redeemer. Thus we will be “taught of Jehovah”; and whatever our lot may be, we will remain with God.» CSI 162.2
This is Alexandria's experience
✍️ How did I develop a relationship with God while working in a bakery?
Although arriving at the bakery in May brought back many negative memories that made me reject the job there, I understood through my meditations that God wanted to teach me something specific.
A few months later I understood. I thought God wanted me to learn the entire production process, but that wasn't it; logistics, neither; I tried hard in sales, but that wasn't it either. One day, when I tried to make everything work correctly and be completed on time, the Lord showed me that I was trying to do my work to gain approval; that specific day, nothing worked well, and all my colleagues responded to the demand.
I wept bitterly because I thought that part of my character had already been eradicated and defeated. When I prayed, confessing my defeat, the Loving Father did not condemn me; in a moment He turned my tears into hope and gave me the solution. From that moment on, the Lord taught me and filled me with love, respect, admiration, and understanding for His little children.
Thus the year was more fruitful for my spiritual life.
Even in sales I used to run away because it involves commerce, but he taught me that I shouldn't necessarily see it that way; he put in me the idea of delivering a healthy product to one of his children who doesn't know it.
One day I went out and couldn't deliver the bread, and with a basket full of products, he took me to a house with bars on the windows on a corner. A man called me from inside and bought several items. That really encouraged me, and I kept going. The next day I went out to sell, looking for that house, but I never found it. That filled me with emotion, thinking about what God is willing to do to show me His love in everything I do.
That and many other examples of his love transformed me and continues to do so.
Today I thank him because what I learned in baking is an effective means for the mission field.
I invite you, come and enjoy the lessons of the Baker of Heaven.
